Qualification and experience
Essential: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade where a point-scale grading system is followed, and any one of the following:
- At least 15 years as Assistant Professor in AGP Rs. 7,000 and above, or 8 years of service in AGP Rs. 8,000 and above (including as Associate Professor), along with experience in educational administration; or
- Comparable experience in a research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education; or
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years must be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

How to apply

- Fill it in by typing. Handwritten applications are not accepted.
- Attach self-attested copies of age, education, experience and other supporting documents, signed by you.
- Attach the Demand Draft for the application fee.
- Put the envelope superscription “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS” clearly on top.
- Send it so it reaches the Registrar on or before 30.11.2026.
In-service candidates must apply through proper channel or attach a No Objection Certificate from the appointing authority.

General instructions
- Applications must be typed; the application fee is non-refundable.
- Late applications will be rejected. The University is not responsible for postal delay.
- A Screening Committee will scrutinise all applications. Incorrect, deficient or incomplete applications will be rejected.
- A list of enclosures must be furnished as provided in the application form.
- No TA/DA is admissible for an interview or written test.
- Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification. Impersonation will be dealt with as per law.
- All appointments remain temporary until confirmed after a minimum one-year probation, which may be extended.
- The selected candidate must be physically and mentally fit, with a certificate signed by the Joint Director of Health Services of the district or a Government Medical Officer.
- A good-conduct certificate from the Head of the institution last attended or served (if not a University employee) must be produced at joining.
- The University may withdraw the post at any time, or choose not to fill it, without giving a reason. Its decision is final.
