The notice says the pay may be amended as per the 7th Pay Commission, subject to conditions being fulfilled.
Eligibility Conditions
- Must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Must be registered with the Employment Exchange of Assam. The valid registration number and date must be written in the application.
- Age between 18 and 40 years as on 01.01.2026. Upper age relaxation as per existing Government guidelines.
- Candidates already in Government service must apply through proper channel with an NOC from their employer.
- Email address and mobile number must be given in the application, without fail.
Documents to Attach
- Self-attested photocopies of educational qualification certificates
- Age proof and Caste Certificate
- Valid Employment Exchange registration
- Experience certificate (wherever applicable), and extra technical experience (optional)
- 3 recent passport size photographs, duly signed and stapled to the application
- Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp (if applicable)
How to Apply

| Step 2 | Attach all documents and photographs listed above. |
| Step 3 | Address it to The Member, Foreigners Tribunal No. 9th, Nagaon, N.B.P. Road, Amolapatty, P.O. & P.S. Itachali Out Post, PIN 782003. Write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……” in block letters on top of the envelope. |
| Step 4 | Send by post, or drop it in person on working days during office hours between 29.10.2026 and 04.11.2026. |
Selection Process
- A written examination for both posts will be held on the same day and at the same time. Its date, time and venue will be published in the same newspaper.
- Candidates who qualify will be called for a viva-voce. The list will be put on the notice board of the Foreigners Tribunal No. 9, Nagaon office.
- Original certificates will be verified at the viva-voce, and candidates must submit a set of self-attested photocopies then.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates. The decision of the Board is final.
