Assam PG Medical Counselling 2026: 1st Round Registration Extended till 28 October
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has extended the last date of online registration for the 1st round of online counselling for admission into 50% Post Graduate seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I., Guwahati under the Assam State Quota for session 2026. Registration is now open until 28 October 2026, which is tomorrow, so eligible candidates should complete it without delay.

What Candidates Should Do
- Complete online registration on the official DME Assam website before the extended deadline.
- From 29 to 30 October, fill in your college and subject choices. Choice filling closes at 5 PM on 30 October.
- Lock your choices between 4 PM and 11:55 PM on 30 October. Choices that are not locked by you will be locked automatically after this window.
- Check the provisional college-wise and subject-wise list on 02/11/2026, along with the modalities of admission.
- Selected candidates must get admitted in the allotted institution between 09/11/2026 and 10/11/2026.
