Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:
- HSLC (Class 10) passed.
- Passed ITI in Diesel Mechanic trade or Fitter trade from an institution recognised by Govt. of Assam or affiliated to SCVT/NCVT.
Age limit (as on 01/08/2025): Minimum 18 years, maximum 43 years. Date of birth is accepted only from the Class 10 Admit Card or Aadhaar Card.
Other conditions:
- Must belong to a Scheduled Caste and hold a valid SC certificate in the Govt. of Assam format.
- Must be a domicile of Assam.
- Must hold a valid Employment Exchange Registration Card issued through the Govt. of Assam Employment Exchange portal.
- Government or PSU employees must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Selection Process
- Written Test: held in English, no negative marking. It has three sections: (A) English Language and General Knowledge, (B) Reasoning, Arithmetic and Mental Ability, (C) Relevant Technical Knowledge.
- Personal Interview: only candidates who qualify the written test are called, in order of merit.
- Medical Exam (PEME): at AGC Medical Centre, Duliajan, Assam.
Tie-break rule: higher marks in Part C (Technical) first, then Part B (Reasoning), then the older candidate.
Training period: 12 months as Trainee, extendable by 3 months if performance is unsatisfactory. After successful completion, the trainee is considered for regularisation, subject to document and character verification.

- Domicile proof (Permanent Residence Certificate)
- Recent passport-size colour photograph (pasted and signed across on the form)

- Fill in the form, paste a recent photograph and sign across it.
- Attach self-attested copies (signed with date) of all documents listed above.

- The application must reach on or before 31 August 2025. Late applications and email applications are rejected.
